Your photos.
Your kind of protection.
Compare the content key, the device boundary, recovery, and the everyday workflow. No single app wins every job.
Account-based Android photo and video backup. Media and thumbnails are encrypted before upload using a text passphrase-derived key. Local originals stay on the phone; remembered-key access and recovery responsibilities matter.

How these comparisons are written
We compare documented behavior, not marketing labels. Competitor details link to official sources on each page. MOC implementation statements are based on the supplied Android code, including backup, encryption, cache, and startup paths. We have not audited deployed services or tested every current release.
We do not assign security scores, copy competitor feature claims into MOC, or treat missing evidence as a proven absence. Prices are intentionally left to the current purchase pages. Questions such as “Who can read my photos?”, “What happens if I forget my secret?”, and “Can someone open my phone?” are considered separately.
