Start with what you have
Open your phone’s storage settings and check how much space your photos and videos use. Include camera folders, screenshots, and images saved from other apps.
Choose your backup connection
Use Wi-Fi for a large first upload. Plug your phone into power, allow the app the permissions it needs, and check whether Android battery settings are interrupting background activity.
Check completion before deleting
Open the app and confirm that the files you expect are backed up. Test access to a few older photos and a longer video. Never delete local originals based only on the fact that you started an upload.
Make it a habit
Review backup status after holidays, important events, or a change of phone. Keep a separate copy of irreplaceable photos where practical.
Explore the official Android app or contact support for help with your backup.
